  • Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights (Consumer Rights Directive).

Conclusion of the Contract and Pricing

Order Placement and Confirmation

  • Contractual Agreement: By placing an order on the website, the Buyer explicitly agrees to these contractual terms.
  • Formation of the Contract: The distance contract is deemed concluded only when the Seller sends a written shipping confirmation to the Buyer via e-mail.

Prices and Taxes

  • Prices displayed on the website are expressed in EUR (or the selected currency).
  • Prices are Brutto prices but do not include shipping costs, which will be clearly specified before the order is finalized.

6. RETURN POLICY (RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL)

General Conditions and Legal Timeframe

  • Right of Withdrawal: Pursuant to Directive 2011/83/EU, individual consumers (natural persons) have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 calendar days from the physical receipt of the goods.
  • No Justification Needed: Returns can be initiated without providing any reason.
  • Procedure: To exercise this right, the Buyer must complete the dedicated form available at the following link: Returns and Refunds
  • Costs: The direct cost of returning the goods (return shipping fee) shall be borne entirely by the Buyer.
  • Product Condition and Diminution of Value
  • In Practice: The product must be returned in a condition that allows it to be resold as new.
  • Permitted Handling: No diminution of value applies if the consumer has only handled the product to establish its nature, characteristics, and functioning (in the same manner as would be permitted in a physical retail store).
  • Prastine Condition: This implies undamaged packaging, a scratch-free product, and no signs of use or dirt.
  • Value Reduction (up to 50%): If the returned product shows signs of wear, physical damage, impacts, chips, or missing accessories, its value will be reduced proportionally to cover the costs of restoring it to its original state (refurbishment) or to reflect the price difference of selling it as a second-hand item.
  • Assessment: This reduction is assessed objectively by the Seller based on actual refurbishment costs.
7. GUARANTEES AND COMPLAINTS

Types of Guarantee

  • Legal Guarantee of Conformity: In accordance with Directive (EU) 2019/771, all products sold benefit from a minimum 2-year legal guarantee of conformity from the date of delivery, protecting the consumer against faulty goods or products that do not look or work as advertised.
  • Commercial Guarantee: For long-term use products, Generation-Tech Kft. may grant a voluntary commercial guarantee spanning 12-24 months, which does not affect the buyer's statutory legal guarantee rights.

Guarantee Exclusions

The guarantee does not cover defects arising from:

  • Improper, incorrect, or abusive use;
  • Normal wear and tear or negligence;
  • Unauthorized modifications or alterations made to the products (e.g., improper blade sharpening, use as a prying tool, etc.).

Notification and Resolution Procedure

Filing a Claim: Any complaint regarding a defective or non-conforming product must be formally registered by completing the official form: Warranty claim form

  • Resolution: The procedure will be handled strictly in compliance with the instructions sent via e-mail after the form submission.

Unfounded Complaints (Associated Costs)

⚠️ Please note: If, following a technical inspection/expert evaluation, the claim is found to be groundless (unfounded), the Buyer shall bear all related costs. A complaint is deemed unfounded if:

  • The product is NOT defective (no malfunction can be identified);
  • The defect occurred due to improper use by the consumer;
  • The Buyer's expectations exceed the capabilities specified on our website;
  • The product was not purchased from our store.

Fees applied in case of an unfounded complaint (borne entirely by the Buyer):

  • Inspection/Expertise fee: 20 EUR
  • Shipping/Transport cost: 20 EUR
  • Payment method: These amounts can be paid in advance via online card payment or bank transfer.

 

8. DISPUTE RESOLUTION AND COMPLAINTS

Amicable Settlement Procedure

  • Resolution Timeframe: We aim to settle all disputes amicably within a maximum of 30 days.
  • Jurisdiction: If an amicable solution cannot be reached, disputes shall be referred to the competent courts of law.

In compliance with the data minimization principle, we only collect and process personal data that is strictly necessary for the purposes specified below. Please note that our services and products are intended for individuals who are at least 16 years of age.

7. AUTOMATED DECISION-MAKING AND PROFILING

We use basic tracking tools (such as Facebook Pixel and Google Ads) to understand user behavior and display relevant, customized advertisements to our audience. However, the Data Controller does not engage in any automated decision-making processes or advanced profiling that could produce legal effects or similarly significantly affect the Data Subject under Article 22 of the GDPR.

8. DATA BREACH NOTIFICATION PROTOCOL

In the highly unlikely event of a personal data breach that is likely to result in a high risk to the rights and freedoms of natural persons, the Data Controller is committed to notifying the competent supervisory authority within 72 hours of becoming aware of it, and communicating the breach to the affected Data Subjects without undue delay, in accordance with Articles 33 and 34 of the GDPR.

9. HOW TO SUBMIT A COMPLAINT

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you hold specific fundamental rights regarding your personal data, which you may exercise free of charge at any time by sending a written request to info@ganzo.hu:

  • Right to Erasure / "Right to be Forgotten" (Article 17): You can request the deletion of your personal data under certain conditions (e.g., if the data is no longer necessary or consent is withdrawn). Note: Data required for legally mandated accounting and invoicing purposes cannot be deleted before the expiration of the statutory 8-year retention period.

For the purposes of this document and in accordance with Article 4 of the GDPR, the terms below shall have the following meanings:
